Since my youth I have admired trees and loved wood. I love woodworking and sharing my knowledge of it with others. It all began over twenty years ago when my Mother-in-Law asked me if I could make her some spoons from some scraps I had laying around. I told her I would try and I did. As it turns out, she never used them. Instead, she hung them on her kitchen wall as a decorative display.
There is something to be learned when I think back to those first spoons and how raw and crude they were. I like to think that practice and perseverance have worked in my favor for the products I am crafting today. What started as a hobby has turned into a lifelong passion but, I can't do it alone! My beautiful wife and partner assist me with design ideas, marketing, sales, and the occasional back rub after a long day of crafting or, selling.
Most of the wood I use to make my products comes from our wood lot. The trees have been damaged by the elements or, attacked by insects. I will never turn down a log or, piece of wood given to me. My wife and I sell our products at craft fairs in Virginia, West Virginia, gift shops, and at farm markets. We enjoy working with the public and have developed friendships with our fellow crafters and customers. We strive to sell quality products at a reasonable price.

The wood we use is grafted mainly from local hard woods grown in the Shenandoah Valley, which include: Maple, Cherry, Black Walnut, Locust, Sassafras, Persimmon, and more.
